Requirements and responsibilities


• Responsible for the network development and contracting process for all lines of business, including provider network recruitment as well as identifying and promoting potential partnerships between providers and our client’s MLTC and Medicare plans/products • Develops, negotiates, executes contracts with all provider types, including hospitals, IPAs and large physician groups • Identifies key relationships within our client’s service area leading toward contract and negotiation initiatives • If assigned, manages Field Provider Relations staff and network consultants to meet and exceed established expectations and duties • Partners and collaborates with Business Development to support provider activities consistent with our client’s growth initiatives for all lines of business • Responsible for conducting provider audits, and site visits for all lines of business • Coordinates meetings/events with strategic providers, hospitals, IPAs, large groups and ancillary providers to develop and maintain strong relationships with Providers • Educates participating and non-participating providers regarding our client’s initiatives and regulatory requirements • Responds to inquiries from providers to resolve issues regarding claims, membership, benefits, member eligibility, billing, and credentialing status • Investigate and resolve provider and vendor complaints and concerns in partnership with the client departments as needed • Other duties and projects as assigned and specified by the Director of Provider Relations in line with Department and company needs
