Joining our team as a medical assistant at ResPro Health, you will play a crucial role in supporting our obstructive sleep apnea and respiratory patients and improving their compliance with CPAP therapy. As a valued team member, you will have the opportunity to work from home and connect with patients on a daily basis, providing education, coaching, and support to help them achieve better outcomes. By collaborating with our respiratory therapy team and staying up to date with advancements in the field, you will contribute to the future of specialty medicine.Responsibilities:Serve a dedicated panel of obstructive sleep apnea patientsReview CPAP reports and communicate with patients during the initial 90 daysMaintain regular communication with patients through phone or video callsProvide education and coaching on CPAP devices and identify barriers to complianceCoordinate and order CPAP suppliesDocument patient interactions in the clinic's EMRCollaborate with other health professionals to ensure comprehensive patient careStay informed about advancements in respiratory therapy practice and technologiesRequirementsCertified Medical Assistant preferredMinimum of 2 years' experience in a medical settingCompletion of Sleep Apnea Certification Course (provided by ResPro Health)Knowledge of respiratory therapy equipment and proceduresStrong communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to work effectively in a team settingExcellent attention to detailBenefitsComprehensive Health Care Plan (Medical, Dental, Vision)Life Insurance optionsUnlimited Paid Time OffTraining and Development opportunitiesFull Time position with a salary range of 35-40K
