The Software Engineer is responsible for the design, development, testing, and maintenance of the Company’s data processing solutions, including modern .NET Core web applications, React front–ends, Azure cloud services, and SQL Server–based relational databases. You’ll analyze user needs and software requirements to determine feasibility of design within time and cost constraints, while embodying the Company’s core values of Integrity, Candor, Accountability, Respect, and Excellence.Essential Job Functions:Collaborate with engineers, product owners, and stakeholders to design end-to-end solutions using ASP.NET Core, React, and Azure services.Translate user requirements into scalable software solutions, following Agile/SCRUM practices and the full software development lifecycle (SDLC).Build and maintain rich client-side experiences with React (including React Hooks, Redux or Context API, and TypeScript).Develop and consume RESTful and GraphQL APIs using C#, ASP.NET Core Web API, and Entity Framework Core.Implement cloud-native solutions on Azure (App Service, Azure Functions, Azure SQL Database, Blob Storage, Key Vault, DevOps pipelines).Design, optimize, and maintain SQL Server databases (SQL Server 2019/2022 and Azure SQL), writing performance T-SQL queries, stored procedures, and indexing strategies.Author unit and integration tests (xUnit, NUnit, Jest) and automate releases via Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions.Participate in code reviews, pair programming sessions, and technical design discussions to ensure code quality, security, and maintainability.Update job knowledge continuously—evaluate new .NET libraries, React ecosystem advancements, Azure features, and best practices through training, conferences, and professional networks.Provide accurate estimates for assigned tasks, report progress to your team lead, and help foster an environment of high morale, motivation, and teamwork.Perform other duties as assigned to support ongoing projects and team goals.RequirementsBA/BS in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent professional experience.2–4 years of hands-on experience building applications in the modern .NET ecosystem (.NET Core/5/6+) and C#.Proficiency with React (functional components, hooks) and TypeScript for client-side development.Strong familiarity with Azure services, including App Service, Functions, Azure SQL Database, and DevOps pipeline creation.Solid database skills with SQL Server (2016 or later) or Azure SQL—designing schemas, writing T-SQL, performance tuning, and managing migrations.Experience with RESTful API design, ASP.NET Core Web API, and Entity Framework Core (or similar ORM).Source control expertise (Git) and experience configuring CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions).Comfortable with HTML5, CSS3 (or CSS-in-JS), and modern JavaScript/TypeScript tooling (Webpack, Babel, npm).Excellent problem-solving skills, critical thinking, and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.Strong written and verbal communication skills, with a commitment to detail and quality.Ability to manage time effectively and deliver work on schedule.We welcome candidates who thrive on continuous learning, enjoy working in a modern full-stack environment, and are eager to leverage cloud technologies to drive business value.
