Responsibilities

Porch Group is a leading vertical software and insurance platform and is positioned to be the best partner to help homebuyers move, maintain, and fully protect their homes. As a leader in the home services software-as-a-service (“SaaS”) space, we’ve built deep relationships with approximately 30 thousand companies that are key to the home-buying transaction, such as home inspectors, mortgage companies, and title companies. The future is bright for the Porch Group, and we'd love for you to be a part of it as our Solutions Sales Executive, Home Factors.Home Factors is Porch Group Media's proprietary property condition scoring and risk analytics platform. It delivers a fundamentally differentiated view of individual property risk by combining proprietary home-attribute data, real-time property condition signals, and advanced scoring models that go well beyond traditional peril or claims-history data. This is a senior hunter role with deep consultative requirements. You will own the full lifecycle of complex, multi-stakeholder sales engagements, from initial prospecting through technical evaluation and executive-level commercial negotiation. Sales cycles are typically 6-12+ months and involve underwriting leadership, actuarial teams, data science, IT/architecture, and C-suite decision-makers.What You Will Do As A Solutions Sales Executive:Pipeline & Revenue OwnershipBuild and manage a full-cycle enterprise pipeline of P&C carriers, MGAs, reinsurers, and program administrators, from strategic prospecting through multi-quarter evaluation cycles to signed subscription agreements.Own an aggressive new-logo quota, maintaining 3-4x pipeline coverage and delivering accurate, stage-weighted forecasts across long, complex sales cycles with contract values ranging from mid-five figures to seven figures annually.Independently maintain a territory plan that segments target accounts by carrier tier, line of business, data maturity, and integration readiness, sequencing engagement across underwriting, actuarial, data science, and IT stakeholders.Maintain CRM data with stage-appropriate detail, including buying-committee mapping and integration timelines, and report honestly on deal health, risk factors, and close timing.Solution Design & Deal ExecutionPartner with analytics, data science, and product teams to architect carrier-specific use cases, including loss-ratio lift analysis, underwriting segmentation models, risk-score integration into pricing algorithms, and portfolio-level risk selection studies.Translate raw analytical output into a business case that resonates with actuarial, underwriting, and executive stakeholders simultaneously.Lead engagements that require coordinating across 4-8 distinct buyer personas within a single account, including Chief Underwriting Officers, VP Actuarial, Head of Data Science, Enterprise Architecture, Procurement, and General Counsel, managing competing priorities and evaluation criteria to drive consensus and close.Design and deliver executive-level pitch materials, technical deep-dive presentations, ROI models, and pricing proposals, and lead commercial negotiations involving custom data delivery formats, API integration terms, multi-year ramp structures, exclusivity provisions, and co-development commitments.Market Presence & Thought LeadershipRepresent Home Factors at industry conferences, presenting to underwriting, actuarial, and C-suite leadership as a credible, technically informed voice on property risk data innovation. What You Will Bring As A Solutions Sales Executive:7+ years of progressive experience in complex, consultative B2B sales, including at least 4 years selling data, analytics, or decision-science solutions directly into P&C insurance carriers, MGAs, or reinsurers.Strong preference for experience selling into underwriting, actuarial, or pricing functions, with an understanding of how carriers evaluate and integrate third-party data into their models.Comfortable holding a substantive conversation about loss ratios, combined ratios, risk segmentation, and GLM/GBM modeling approaches, with enough analytical fluency to co-design a proof of concept and defend the methodology to a skeptical buyer. An active network of senior relationships across carriers, MGAs, reinsurers, or insurance data/analytics buyers, particularly in underwriting, actuarial, and data leadership, with the ability to get a meeting with a decision-maker rather than a gatekeeper.A demonstrable track record of exceeding quota in enterprise sales environments with 6-12+ month cycles, multiple decision-makers, technical evaluations, and six- to seven-figure contract values, including experience navigating procurement, legal, and IT security reviews.Self-directed and resourceful, comfortable operating in an early-stage, high-growth environment where the go-to-market motion is still being built.Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, able to flex between a technical data validation conversation with an actuarial team and a strategic business case for a C-suite sponsor with equal ease.Working knowledge of data integration patterns common in insurance (API, SFTP, cloud data exchanges) and familiarity with how carriers consume third-party data features in predictive models, sufficient to lead a technical scoping conversation without engineering support in the room.Category-creation experience is a plus: prior experience selling a new-to-market data product or analytics solution where no established RFP process or budget line existed. How We Will Measure Success:Consistent quarter-over-quarter new-logo bookings growth against an assigned quota, with clear progression toward annual plan attainment.A healthy, self-sourced pipeline with 3-4x coverage, realistic stage-weighted values, and well-qualified opportunities that reflect genuine buyer engagement.Deals that close on the strength of a tailored, analytically validated value case, demonstrated through proof-of-concept results and quantified lift metrics, not discounting or relationship selling alone.Growing strategic footprint within the carrier and MGA market, with expanding senior-level relationships, referenceable accounts, and a measurable contribution to Home Factors' market positioning as the category-defining property condition data provider.Successful conversion of proof-of-concept engagements into multi-year enterprise subscriptions, with increasing average contract value over time.Pay Range*: $68,300 - $95,600 AnnuallyPlease know your actual pay at Porch will reflect a number of factors among which are your work experience and skillsets, job-related knowledge,
