Your impact:As a Senior Data Engineer, you will play a critical role in building and operating reliable, analytics-ready data systems that power decision-making across the organization. You’ll meaningfully contribute to key data pipelines, partner closely with analytics stakeholders, and help evolve our data platform to be more scalable, trustworthy, and easier to work with.This is a hands-on role for someone who cares deeply about production data quality, is comfortable making decisions in ambiguous environments, and is motivated by building systems that other teams depend on every day.A day in the life:Develop long-term technical vision for the teamDesign technical strategy to develop components, frameworks and libraries to create seamless applications for our customersHands-on development of scalable components and applicationsMentor engineers including senior and junior engineers on their teamImprove and uphold standards for engineering and operational excellenceCreate and encourage comprehensive documentation for code, libraries, and components to facilitate collaboration and knowledge sharing within the teamYour expertise:4+ years of experience in data engineering or closely related rolesStrong experience building and maintaining production data pipelines using PythonHands-on experience integrating data from external APIsExperience operating batch ELT pipelines and working with data warehousesAdvanced SQL skills and experience modeling data for analytics and reporting use casesExperience working with orchestration tools such as AirflowFamiliarity with dbt or similar transformation tools, and comfort working closely with analytics teamsDemonstrated ownership of production systems, including monitoring, debugging, and incident responseComfort working in ambiguous environments and making pragmatic technical decisionsExperience working in a cloud environment such as GCP (or equivalent)Familiarity with CI/CD practices and source control (e.g., GitHub)Experience working in collaborative, iterative development environmentsAdditional preferred experience:Designing or migrating pipelines toward incremental loading patternsWorking with infrastructure-as-code tools (e.g., Terraform)Experience with data quality tooling, testing, or observabilityExposure to BI tools or supporting analytics workflowsExperience learning and adopting new tools or technologies quicklyWhere you areThis role is remote and should be located in Latin America (LatAm) and compatible with EST time zone.How we support our people Insurance or subsidies based on countryUnlimited Time Off, with a minimum time off recommendation Company-paid holidaysOfficial company-wide holiday for the last week of the calendar year Access to free data skills training through our programsA company culture that empowers individuals and embraces diversity through its core missionCorrelation One’s Commitment Correlation One is proud to be an Equal Opportunity Employer and is committed to providing equal opportunity for all employees and applicants.
