Requirements and responsibilities

• Design and maintain our analytical database. To succeed in this data engineering position, you should have strong analytical skills and the ability to move data from our transactional database to our analytical database by creating, monitoring and maintaining an optimal ETL architecture, that helps aligning data systems with business goals. Identify, design, and implement internal process improvements including: automating manual processes, optimizing data delivery, re-designing infrastructure for greater scalability. • Build the foundation for a high-quality data platform. Evaluate business needs and objectives to design and build a data platform that allows the development of insightful analytical dashboards and serves as a data source for our assessment and learning content recommendation algorithms. Build analytics tools that utilize the data pipeline to provide actionable insights into key business performance metrics for our customers. • Improve data quality and efficiency. Construct datasets that are easy to analyze and support company requirements. Implement methods to improve data reliability and quality. Identify opportunities for data acquisition. Assemble flexible data sets that meet functional and non-functional business requirements. • Work with stakeholders including the Executive, Product, Data, and Design teams to assist with data-related technical issues and support their data infrastructure needs. Work with data and analytics experts to strive for greater functionality in our data systems.
