Zipdev is looking to add an experienced Java developer from Latam to its remote team of international developers. The client offers secure, scalable, cloud-based Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) solutions that are best-in-class. Our solutions are advancing electronic disease surveillance, contact tracing, laboratory testing, and reporting. Responsibilities
Participate in complete software development lifecycle from conception to deployment
Define and implement standards and best practices for software development.
Provide accurate and timely work estimates
Collaborate with Business Analyst, DBA and UX/UI designer and other developers
Develop functional databases, applications, and servers to support websites on the back end
Develop and design RESTful services and APIs
Ensure that non-functional requirements such as security, performance, maintainability, scalability, usability, and reliability are being considered when architecting solutions.
Fluent in Java, React.js, SQLServer, Hibernate/JDBC connections.
Requirements
Fluent with Linux/Unix terminal
MVC Framework (Play Framework is a plus)
5 years of experience with React.js, Redux
Preferably 8 years of experience with Java 8/11, JUnit
SQLServer, JDBC, Hibernate
RESTful APIs
SSO integration (plus)
Web proxy - Nginx experience preferred
CI/CD Pipelines
Experience implementing a complete software development lifecycle with the described stack
