We are seeking a motivated and entrepreneurial University Business Manager to oversee and manage our university-focused clothing and stash business. The ideal candidate will be involved in a University Society/Club, with committee membership being a bonus. They should have a keen interest in clothing and trends, along with an eye for popular styles. This role requires a high degree of independence, as the candidate will be responsible for various aspects of the business, including marketing, sales, product development, new product ideas, design, fulfilment, photography, videography, and more. The successful candidate will have excellent problem-solving skills, empathy towards customers, and the ability to manage multiple responsibilities in a organised and documented manner. Any previous experience reselling items on platforms like Depop, would be advantageous. Responsibilities: - Dealing with incoming inquiries from customers and potential clients - Assisting the designer in perfecting designs to meet customer requirements and preferences - Communicating with the manufacturing team to ensure timely production and shipment of products - Proactively reaching out to ten potential customers daily to generate sales leads - Creating and managing engaging social media posts to promote the brand and attract customers - Raising invoices for completed orders and ensuring accurate billing - Handling product-related issues and providing exceptional customer service to resolve customer concerns - Collaborating with the team to identify and capitalise on new business opportunities
