Job Summary: - Seeking Board Certified or Board Eligible Sleep Medicine Physicians for a unique opportunity to provide virtual specialty care to Veterans through a major VA healthcare system. - This contract enables physicians to practice Sleep Medicine remotely while helping expand access to specialized care for Veterans. - Physicians may work from any state where they maintain an active, unrestricted medical license. Duties and Responsibilities: - Provide evaluation and management of sleep disorders through synchronous telehealth. - Interpret sleep studies. - Conduct electronic consultations. - Perform remote physiologic and therapeutic monitoring. - Communicate diagnostic and treatment results. - Provide ongoing management of patients with sleep-related conditions. - Complete clinical documentation and required electronic medical records. - Collaborate with other healthcare professionals involved in Veteran care. Qualifications: - Medical Doctor (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree. - Board Certification or Board Eligibility in Sleep Medicine. - Current, unrestricted license to practice medicine in at least one U.S. state. - Active AHA BLS certification. - Ability to obtain and maintain required VA credentialing and privileging. - Experience evaluating and managing patients with sleep disorders. - Comfort practicing independently in a virtual or telehealth environment. - Strong communication and documentation skills. The Opportunity: - Approximately 1.3 FTE coverage, or roughly 2,700 labor hours annually, delivered through a team of qualified Sleep Medicine Physicians. Remote Practice: - Virtual clinical services supporting a large Veterans healthcare population, without requiring relocation for physicians licensed in an eligible U.S. state.
