Young people with serious mental health needs often face long waitlists for residential treatment. These kids are removed from their schools, homes, and communities at a critical moment in their lives. We founded Flourish Health because we knew there was a better way. We have seen that young people recover better when they stay in their communities, with families equipped to support their health journey. ➡️ Who We Serve: We work with most major health plans nationally to treat young people ages 8-26. We serve high-acuity patients that other providers are not equipped to treat, including disruptive and conduct disorders, bipolar disorder, trauma-related conditions, severe depression or anxiety. ➡️ How We Deliver Care: Every patient works with a complete Care Pod, which includes a child and adolescent psychiatrist, licensed therapist, patient guide, and family guide. With 3+ touch points per week, they provide consistent care that leads to lasting change. Our hybrid model combines in-home visits with virtual sessions, removing barriers to care and enabling kids to stay in school and thrive in their communities. ➡️ Improvement in <6 weeks: Most families see clinically significant improvement within 6 weeks. More than half of patients with severe depression improve in under 4 weeks. This means fewer crisis moments, better days at school, more connection at home, and hope for the future. ➡️ What Health Plans See: An independent study by a major Medicaid health plan found that, 6 months after completing the program, there was a: - 69% decrease in residential treatment utilization - 70% decrease in overall hospitalization rates - 67% increase in medication adherence ➡️ Clinical Leadership: Co-founded by a Stanford-trained physician, with clinical leaders from Children's Hospital of Philadelphia, University of Virginia, Georgetown, Crisis Text Line, and Mass General Brigham. ⭐️ 5/5 Rating of patient and family guides by 100% of patients and caregivers surveyed.
