Role Description The Policy and International Affairs Researcher will conduct structured research on global policy issues, international relations, and economic developments to support client projects and internal knowledge assets. Day-to-day responsibilities include collecting and analyzing qualitative and quantitative data, monitoring international policy trends, reviewing academic and policy publications, and preparing concise briefs, reports, and presentations. The researcher will collaborate with other team members to develop insights, contribute to project proposals, and refine research frameworks and methodologies. This is a part-time remote role, requiring reliable availability during agreed hours, proactive communication, and consistent delivery of high-quality, well-documented work.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess strong Policy Research and Research skills, including the ability to design research questions, identify credible sources, and synthesize complex information.
Candidates should possess robust Analytical Skills and a solid foundation in Economics to interpret data, understand global trends, and assess policy impacts.
Candidates should possess clear and professional Communication skills, with the ability to present findings in well-structured written documents and concise verbal briefings.
Relevant academic background in Political Science, International Relations, Economics, Public Policy, or a related field (Bachelor’s degree or higher preferred).
Proficiency with research tools and data sources (e.g., academic databases, policy repositories, economic statistics) and familiarity with basic data analysis techniques.
Ability to work independently in a remote setting, manage multiple tasks, meet deadlines, and maintain careful documentation and citation practices.
Demonstrated interest in international affairs, global governance, and comparative policy issues; prior research or consulting experience is an asset.
