About the Role We are seeking a Bilingual Medical Virtual Assistant (Spanish-English) with a nursing or healthcare background to support a U.S.-based clinical team. In this role, you will handle patient communications, coordinate care, and manage administrative processes, ensuring accuracy, empathy, and professionalism across both languages. This position is ideal for someone with healthcare experience who enjoys patient interaction and wants to contribute to meaningful care in a remote capacity. Key Responsibilities * Communicate with patients in Spanish and English via phone, text, email, or patient portals. * Manage appointment scheduling, reminders, and follow-ups through EMR/EHR systems. * Explain care instructions and clinic procedures (within scope; not diagnosing). * Maintain accurate and confidential patient records. * Support billing, documentation, and insurance coordination as needed. * Collaborate with clinicians and staff to ensure a smooth patient experience. * Provide compassionate and efficient support while upholding HIPAA standards. Qualifications * Nursing education or clinical experience required (CNA, MA, RN, or similar preferred). * Fluent in both Spanish and English (written and spoken). * At least 1 year of experience in a healthcare, telehealth, or medical office setting. * Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a patient-centered approach. * Experience using EMR/EHR systems (e.g., Athena, Kareo, SimplePractice) is a plus. * Highly organized, detail-oriented, and reliable in remote work settings. * Ability to handle confidential information and follow HIPAA compliance.
