Job DescriptionThe Value Data Analyst plays a critical role in quantifying and articulating the business and security impact of Secure Code Warrior (SCW) training programs. This role sits at the intersection of application security, developer enablement, and data analytics, translating complex security and workflow data into clear, credible insights that demonstrate measurable improvement across the software development lifecycle.The Value Data Analyst partners closely with customers and internal teams to analyze how developer training influences vulnerability reduction, flaw remediation, ticket resolution, and code quality, enabling organizations to clearly understand and communicate the value of secure coding practices at scale.What You'll Do:Design and execute customer-facing case studies that demonstrate the relationship between developer training and improvements in application security workflowsPartner with cross-functional stakeholders—including AppSec, DevOps, Security Architecture, Training & Enablement, and Engineering leadership—to define meaningful KPIs and success criteriaTranslate quantitative findings and qualitative insights into compelling, executive-ready value narratives that resonate with technical and non-technical audiencesAnalyze SCW training, comprehension, and engagement dataBuild advanced data visualizations and dashboards that clearly communicate impact and insightsProvide data-driven recommendations to optimize SCW training strategies based on observed upstream and downstream impactsEstablish governance models and best practices to ensure consistency, accuracy, and credibility in value measurementContribute to internal enablement, external content, and strategic conversations that elevate SCW’s position as a leader in developer-driven securityWhat You Bring:5+ years of strong experience in data analysis, analytics, or security metrics, ideally within application security, DevOps, or developer enablement environmentsExperience translating complex technical data into clear, actionable insights and executive-level narrativesComfort working cross-functionally with technical and non-technical stakeholdersAdvanced proficiency in data visualization and reporting tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, Looker, or similar)Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present findings clearly to leadership and customersHighly curious and detail-oriented, with a strong desire to understand how and why security improvements happenComfortable operating in ambiguity and building structure where it doesn’t yet existHighly DesirableBackground in application security, secure software development, or DevSecOpsFamiliarity with common vulnerability management tools, CI/CD pipelines, and code repositoriesExperience developing customer case studies, value frameworks, or ROI modelsExposure to security standards and frameworks (e.g., OWASP Top 10, NIST, CWE)Experience in a SaaS or security-focused organization
