Job DescriptionThe Strategic Services Program Operations Manager plays a critical role in ensuring the successful execution, governance, and continuous improvement of DeepSeas’ strategic service programs. Acting as the operational backbone of the DeepSeas shared service MDR offering, this role drives alignment across client engagements, delivery teams, and leadership to ensure programs are delivered with consistency, efficiency, and measurable impact.Your RoleThe ideal candidate will be a strategic thinker and disciplined operator with exceptional organizational skills, strong client-facing experience, and the ability to translate program execution into business outcomes.Key ResponsibilitiesStrategic Alignment & GovernanceEstablish, maintain, and enforce standards for program execution, reporting, and quality assurance.Track and mitigate program-level risks and issues to ensure smooth service delivery.Coordinate the development and maintenance of integrated success plans across multiple client workstreams.Program Planning & ExecutionLead program lifecycle activities including kickoff, onboarding, milestone tracking, and closure.Monitor deliverables, dependencies, and timelines across active projects and initiatives.Ensure timely execution of deliverables while upholding quality standards.Track and manage ad-hoc client requests to ensure alignment with contractual obligations.Client Engagement & CommunicationServe as the central coordination point between clients, delivery teams, finance, and leadership.Represent the DeepSeas MDR platform in client discussions and strategic touchpoints.Facilitate Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs) and coordinate executive briefings and intelligence updates.Resource & Utilization ManagementMonitor staff availability, allocation, and utilization across engagements.Align skilled resources to client needs and forecast demand for upcoming initiatives.Support capacity planning and workforce decisions based on program pipeline and client growth.Financial & Contractual OversightSupport scoping, pricing, and Statement of Work (SOW) development.Track program-level budgets, burn rates, and profitability metrics.Ensure accurate invoicing and revenue recognition tied to contractual milestones.Continuous Improvement & InnovationIdentify opportunities to optimize delivery models, tools, and methodologies.Coordinate innovation campaigns and promote best practices across service delivery.Support staff training, enablement, and knowledge-sharing initiatives.Capture lessons learned and drive repeatable improvements across engagements.Benchmark performance and client satisfaction to inform strategic adjustments.Annual Performance GoalsBusiness OperatorAchieve 95%+ on-time delivery of program milestones and client deliverables.Improve resource utilization efficiency by 30%, aligning staffing with demand forecasts.Ensure 100% compliance with governance standards and contractual obligations.Client ServiceDeliver consistently positive client satisfaction scores as measured through QBRs and surveys.Reduce program-level risks and issues by at least 30% within the first year through proactive tracking and mitigation.Facilitate quarterly executive briefings with actionable insights and recommendations.Capability DevelopmentLaunch at least one innovation initiative per quarter that improves delivery models or client outcomes.Capture and implement lessons learned across at least 80% of client engagements.Contribute to the development of standardized delivery methodologies, playbooks, and governance frameworks.Personal GrowthDevelop advanced expertise in program governance, client engagement, and financial oversight.Pursue / maintain certification or training in program/project management (e.g., PMP, PgMP, or SAFe).Build thought leadership by presenting best practices or lessons learned at internal forums and industry events.Why DeepSeas?At Deep Seas, we like to say that heart rates go down, careers take off, and security programs mature.
