About the job Immigration ParalegalOur fast-growing immigration law firm is seeking an experienced and knowledgeable Immigration Paralegal to join our team as an independent contractor. This position is a fully remote position. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in US immigration law and a proven track record of handling a wide range of cases, including family based cases, investment-related visas, business expansion visas, extraordinary ability visas, performance visas, employment-based green cards, TN visas for Canadians, temporary stay visas (DS-160), citizenship cases, and asylum cases.ResponsibilitiesManage and maintain client files, ensuring accuracy and completenessPrepare and file various immigration forms and petitions with USCIS, DOS, and other government agenciesCommunicate with clients to gather necessary information and documents, and provide updates on case progressResearch and analyze immigration laws, regulations, and policies to ensure the best possible outcomes for clientsCollaborate with attorneys to develop case strategies and provide support during client meetings and interviewsUtilize case management software (Docketwise) and customer support platform (Zendesk) to streamline processes and enhance client experienceRequirementsExperience as a paralegal in a similar roleExperience handling immigration casesStrong knowledge of immigration law and proceduresExcellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skillsAbility to work independently and manage multiple cases simultaneouslyMeticulous attention to detail and commitment to providing exceptional client servicePrevious experience working with Zendesk and Docketwise is a plusWe offerCompetitive compensation based on experience and qualificationsFlexible work schedule and remote work opportunitiesOpportunity to work with a diverse and talented team of immigration professionalsExposure to a wide variety of challenging and rewarding immigration casesIf you are passionate about immigration law and helping clients navigate the complex immigration process, we encourage you to apply.
