Our client, a global leader in e-commerce, robotics, automation, and technology, is seeking a Quality Assurance Engineer to support the testing and deployment of advanced mechatronics and industrial automation systems.This is a hands-on engineering role focused on executing Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT), Site Acceptance Testing (SAT), hardware verification, and system-level testing for equipment being deployed into production environments.You’ll join a team focused on transforming stand-alone work cells into safe, reliable, easy-to-operate, and easy-to-maintain end-to-end integrated solutions. The team will provide clear testing procedures and training, making this an excellent opportunity for an engineer with strong technical fundamentals who wants to deepen their expertise otics, and automation.What You’ll DoExecute Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT) and Site Acceptance Testing (SAT) for industrial and automated equipment.Perform hands-on hardware testing, verification, and validation according to established test procedures.Identify, document, and communicate test results, defects, and potential system issues.Work with PLCs and testing platforms such as LabVIEW and TestStand to support system and hardware testing.Track testing activities, results, and project progress using Smartsheet and Excel.Collaborate with engineering, deployment, and operations teams to ensure equipment meets quality and readiness requirements.Travel to U.S. sites to support equipment testing, acceptance, and deployment activities.Why This Role Stands OutHands-on engineering: Work directly with sophisticated industrial hardware, automation, and mechatronic systems.Career growth: Join a team that places a strong emphasis on mentorship, technical development, and growing engineering talent.Advanced technology: Ga-controlled equipment, automated systems, and large-scale deployments.High-impact work: Help ensure new technologies are safe, reliable, maintainable, and ready for real-world production environments.Varied environments: Combine remote work with hands-on testing at facilities across the U.S.What We’re Looking For3–7 years of hands-on engineering or test engineering experience.Strong background in hardware testing, design verification, validation, or test execution.Experience running tests on industrial machinery, automated equipment, or similar hardware systems.Familiarity with PLCs (Programmable Logic Controllers).Familiarity with LabVIEW and TestStand.Strong working experience with Smartsheet and Microsoft Excel.Ability and willingness to travel approximately 20–30% within the U.S.Strong troubleshooting, documentation, and communication skills.A curious, hands-on mindset with the ability to learn quickly and execute clearly defined test procedures.Must be based in the Seattle, WA or Boston, MA area.Preferred SkillsExperience with mechatronics, robotics, or industrial automation systems.Engineering degree or degree in a related technical field.Experience supporting Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT) and/or Site Acceptance Testing (SAT).Exposure to the deployment or commissioning of automated equipment.Who Will Thrive in This RoleBeyond technical experience, the team is looking for someone with strong potential and a genuine desire to grow.
