The Finance Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the finance department. This role ensures the accuracy and integrity of financial data, manages the month-end close process, and assists in financial planning and analysis (FP&A) activities.A bit about Altourage…Altourage is a leading managed services provider specializing in IT and cybersecurity solutions. With a diverse clientele spanning financial services, professional services, as well as other sectors, they are committed to delivering top-notch technology solutions tailored to our clients' unique needs.Your work as the Finance Manager includes several components:  Month-End Close and Financial Reporting Manage and execute the monthly financial close processes.Ensure all journal entries, bank reconciliations, and balance sheet reconciliations are completed accurately and within established deadlines.Prepare the monthly financial reporting package for the leadership team.Operational Accounting Oversee daily accounting functions including Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, billing, and payroll processing.Cash Management Monitor daily cash balances, prepare cash flow projections, and optimize working capital. Continuous Audit Readiness Maintain a perpetual state of audit readiness by ensuring pristine documentation and highly organized financial records.Serve as primary contact for external auditors during bi-annual audits.Process Optimization Continuously evaluate finance department workflows, identifying and implementing process improvements and automations to increase efficiency.Staff Development Manage, mentor and evaluate the performance of the finance team, ensuring a high standard of work and adherence to accounting principlesOur ideal Finance Manager has the following qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.3-5+ years of progressive accounting experience.Strong working knowledge of GAAP and month-end close procedures.Experience managing AP, AR, billing, and payroll functions.Prior experience supporting or leading external audits.Proficiency with accounting/ERP systems and advanced Excel skills.Excellent organizational skills with strong attention to detail and documentation.Core CompetenciesAccuracy and accountability under deadline pressure.Process-improvement and automation mindset.Clear communication with leadership and external stakeholders.The targeted base compensation for this role is $100,000-$115,000 and will operate in a remote model.
