Discovery Boulevard is looking for an experienced trainer with deep, in-depth knowledge of molecular docking, not just familiarity with running software.Required ExpertiseMolecular docking theory and practical applicationsScoring functions (empirical, physics-based, knowledge-based) and their limitationsSearch algorithms such as Genetic Algorithms, Lamarckian Genetic Algorithm (LGA), Monte Carlo methods, and Simulated AnnealingDocking validation, pose analysis, RMSD interpretation, and virtual screening workflowsMetal ion docking and challenging protein-ligand systemsReceptor flexibility, induced-fit effects, and advanced docking strategiesQM/MM concepts and parameterization of modified residues, cofactors, and non-standard ligandsRequirementsPhD preferred in Bioinformatics, Computational Biology, Computational Chemistry, Pharmaceutical Sciences, or a related fieldPrior teaching, mentoring, or workshop experience is highly desirableRemote | Flexible | Part-Time⚠️ Please note: these trainers will be training faculty members, so genuine in-depth knowledge is essential.
