This is not a traditional accounting role.You will be responsible for:making sure we get paid on timemaking sure vendors are paid correctlygiving leadership clear visibility into where money is being made and lostYou’ll work closely with leadership and our external bookkeeping team (via QuickBooks), but internally you are the owner of financial operations.What You'll DoClient invoicing and CollectionsOwn the full invoicing process from creation to paymentEnsure all invoices are sent accurately and on timeProactively follow up on outstanding invoices and manage collectionsBuild systems to reduce late payments and improve cash flowVendor Payments (AP)Process payments for influencers, contractors, and agency partnersTrack all outgoing payments and ensure accuracyCoordinate approvals and maintain organized payout recordsFinancial Tracking & ReportingMaintain clean and organized financial data (in coordination with bookkeeping team)Track:revenue by clientcost per projectoverall profitabilityDeliver simple, clear monthly financial reports to leadershipMargin & Cost AnalysisHelp track profitability across clients and campaignsIdentify where margins are being lostImprove how we track project-level costs over timeWhat We're Looking For1–4 years of experience in finance, accounting, or operationsExtremely detail-oriented and organizedComfortable owning collections and following up on paymentsStrong sense of ownership and accountabilityAble to build systems, not just follow themClear communicator (especially when dealing with clients and vendors)BonusExperience working at an agency or service-based businessFamiliarity with QuickBooks, Mercury, SlashExperience tracking margins or project profitabilityBasic understanding of cash flow or forecastingWhat Success Looks LikeInvoices go out on time, every timeCash is collected quickly and consistentlyVendor payments are accurate and organizedLeadership has clear visibility into margins and profitabilityFinancial operations run smoothly without bottlenecks
