About the roleWe're looking for a Web Designer to own the design of Perplexity's marketing and landing pages. You'll be the person who makes sure every page we ship looks and feels like it belongs to one of the most exciting AI products in the world — clear, beautiful, and fast.You're a great designer first and foremost, with the visual taste to set the bar for our web presence. But you also understand how modern web pages get built and maintained. As page volume grows across consumer and enterprise, a big part of this role is making our landing page system more self-serve internally: you'll create and own the design side of our CMS so the rest of the company can spin up on-brand pages without a designer in the loop every time.You'll report into the Brand/Creative Studio team and work closely with Growth, Product Marketing, Brand, and our front-end engineers.What you'll doOwn the design of marketing pages, landing pages, and growth surfaces end-to-end — you're the DRI for web craftCreate and own the CMS design system: the templates, components, and patterns that let teams build on-brand pages themselvesPartner with Growth and Product Marketing to translate business goals into compelling, high-converting page designsWork with Brand to keep visual consistency across every web touchpointCollaborate directly with front-end engineers to ship pages quickly and at a high quality bar, including the ongoing migration off FramerBring a strong point of view on layout, typography, motion, and interaction design for the webRaise the floor on self-serve page creation so the design team can focus on the highest-craft workWhat we're looking forA strong portfolio of web and marketing design work — landing pages, campaign pages, product marketing sites — that shows you're a designer firstExcellent visual design skills with a clear sense of brand, typography, and compositionHands-on experience designing within and for CMS / templating systems, and an instinct for building scalable, self-serve page systemsExperience at the intersection of brand and growth — you understand conversion without sacrificing craftComfort working fast and iterating in real time alongside engineersFluency in Figma and a solid understanding of responsive design, accessibility, and web performanceA clear opinion on what makes a great web page, and the ability to articulate whyNice to haveFront-end development knowledge (HTML, CSS, and enough JS to prototype, tweak, and ship)Background in brand or marketing design at a consumer tech companyFamiliarity with SEO fundamentals and how design decisions affect discoverabilityMotion design skills for web interactions and micro-animationsU.S. BenefitsFull-time U.S. employees enjoy a comprehensive benefits program including equity, health, dental, vision, retirement, fitness, commuter and dependent care accounts, and more.International BenefitsFull-time employees outside the U.S. enjoy a comprehensive benefits program tailored to their region of residence.USD salary ranges apply only to U.S.-based positions.
