Supplier Operations AssociateProject Expedition, a rapidly growing travel company, is seeking a Supplier Operations Associate to join our Supplier Partnerships Team. This role is focused on managing day-to-day supplier operations, maintaining accurate product and pricing information, and ensuring our Tour Operator network runs smoothly. If you enjoy solving problems, working with data, building supplier relationships, and improving operational processes, this could be a great fit.The right candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable managing multiple priorities at once. You will work closely with Tour Operators and internal teams to resolve issues, maintain product quality, and support the ongoing growth of our marketplace. This is a hands-on role that requires strong communication skills, operational thinking, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.Key Responsibilities:Manage product and pricing updates across the platformMaintain accurate pricing, availability, and product information across systemsCoordinate product profile updates, including activations and deactivationsOversee content updates such as inclusions, meeting points, and product descriptionsIdentify and escalate data inconsistencies to the appropriate internal teamsSupport new product launches and removalsCoordinate with internal stakeholders to launch new productsReview product content, pricing, and availability before products go liveAssess and manage product removals when operational issues ariseInvestigate and resolve pricing and operational issuesResearch pricing discrepancies using rate sheets, booking records, and internal systemsDetermine whether issues are operational or technical in natureManage complex supplier issues through resolution while keeping stakeholders informedDocument recurring issues and supplier-specific requirements to improve efficiencyBuild and maintain supplier relationshipsConduct regular meetings with Tour Operators to discuss performance, commissions, and growth opportunitiesRespond to supplier inquiries and operational requestsIdentify opportunities to strengthen supplier partnerships and improve collaborationManage supplier account maintenanceMaintain CRM records and supplier contact informationSupport commission updates, rebranding initiatives, and account structure changesEnsure supplier data remains accurate across platformsPrepare operational reports and performance updates for leadershipSupport compliance and reconciliation effortsTrack and follow up on supplier insurance documentation requirementsPartner with internal teams to review compliance processes and identify improvementsInvestigate payment disputes and reconcile discrepancies using historical pricing and booking informationLeverage AI to optimize and automate repetitive tasks and processesThe ideal candidate:2-4 years of experience in operations, account management, supplier support, or a similar roleStrong organizational skills and exceptional attention to detailComfortable managing large volumes of data across multiple systems and platformsStrong problem-solving and analytical abilitiesClear and effective communicator with both internal and external stakeholdersAble to work independently and prioritize competing responsibilitiesExperience working with external partners, vendors, or suppliersFamiliarity with APIs and how pricing, availability, and content flow between systems is a plusMarketplace, e-commerce, or travel industry experience is preferredFluent in English with strong written communication skills; additional languages are a bonusBenefits include:Annual company bonus (up to a total of $3,000, based on company targets - deferred eligibility)15 days of leave (increases to 20 days at 2 years tenure)Company Healthcare Plan (Company contribution $9K with 2 completely covered plans)401K company planAnnual work from home budget $500Annual training budget of $250TSA PreCheck (worth $80)Annual Project Expedition tour credits of $750Employee discounts on thousands of tours and activitiesAdditional Information:While we're excited to grow our team across the U.S., we're currently unable to hire employees residing in California or New York.Please note that while this is a remote position, it is not suitable for digital nomads.
