We organise team trivia nights, board game marathons, and other fun events to foster our team spirit 💥About the RoleAs Deputy Manager - Taxation, you are going to be involved in extensive coordination with internal and external stakeholders of the Farmiso team. You will ensure that we and relevant business partners are tax compliant. We don’t need to explain how crucial your role doing this will be to us! Besides, you will also build processes and systems to enable faster, more efficient systems to handle tax matters. You will work with stakeholders to ensure that all the tax processes are in place. You will close critical problems in record time and manage multiple operations of the tax practice area, delivering quality tax services that will increase the company\'s reputation.What you will doHandle direct tax compliances end-to-end at an organisational levelHandle new registration requirements, notices, assessment and tax disputesBuild best practices, process implementation and adoption of tax positions for new business verticalsConduct review of monthly accounting, management reports from tax perspectiveProperly study, research and close issues within the strict deadlines setHandle end-to-end tax compliance, structure, and review of group entitiesWork closely with internal and external stakeholdersClosely monitor how well teams are following set systems and processesWhat you will needCertification as a Chartered Accountant with 2-4 years of relevant work experienceExperience handling compliances of multiple registrationsCurrent exposure in Income tax is a mustExpertise in working with data on spreadsheetsStrong ability to interpret and influence policymakingExperience in an e-commerce Company/startup will be preferredPrior experience with ERP will be an added advantage
