Requirements and responsibilities

The Cloud Engineer will support the development of an Enterprise cloud infrastructure baseline suitable of multi-cloud IaaS, SaaS, PaaS, and XaaS consumption using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) as part of a cross-functional agile engineering team. The Cloud Engineer will be responsible for integration and implementation of a public cloud infrastructure that will support microservice, containerized, monolithic, serverless and hybrid application architectures. Responsibilities: - Support the development of an Enterprise cloud infrastructure baseline suitable of multi-cloud IaaS, SaaS, PaaS, and XaaS consumption using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) as part of a cross-functional agile engineering team. - Responsible for integration and implementation of a public cloud infrastructure that will support microservice, containerized, monolithic, serverless and hybrid application architectures. - Assist in defining and adhering to internal team standards and processes. - Develop and maintain documentation for the design, implementation, operations, and accreditation of COTS infrastructure management solutions. - Support the development of a service catalog for system team self-service using IaC. - Build and integrate new systems and assist in the migration of applications, COTS, GOTS, and FOSS products to public cloud resources. - Provide technological recommendations of infrastructure solutions. - Implement the solution(s) required to fulfill system and solution level requirements. - Support development, integration, test and validation activities to prove system effectiveness, performance, and readiness during critical test events leading up to critical Decennial operations.
