Autodesk is looking for a Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) to join the Data Ingestion team within the Analytics Data organization. The SDET will design end-to-end test frameworks to test the infrastructure and systems for the data ingestion pipelines developed over Data mesh principals. The position is based in Bangalore and supports hybrid work mode. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field, 2-4 years’ experience in Quality Assurance or Development of complex systems, and solid proficiency in building test frameworks using Python (Pytest) and/or Bash. The SDET will be responsible for creatively designing and developing innovative strategies, tools, processes, and frameworks to test components and their integration points throughout the platform, as well as configuring and deploying server test environments on physical hardware and cloud-based server instances. The candidate should have solid proficiency in deploying, troubleshooting, and working in Linux server environments, knowledge of AWS cloud services, and experience with continuous integration tools such as Jenkins and Hudson. Familiarity with non-functional testing and experience with Big Data technologies/tools such as Hadoop, Spark, and BI/MIS systems is preferred. Responsibilities: - Design and develop innovative strategies, tools, processes, and frameworks to test components and their integration points throughout the platform - Understand and report test results to ensure the quality, efficiency, reliability, and stability of the platform - Collaborate with other engineers to provide testing insights and improve the quality of the platform - Configure and deploy server test environments on physical hardware and cloud-based server instances - Oversee the test strategy of the data platform to ensure product quality
