Shardeum is looking for a Developer Advocate - Open Source to grow and manage their open source community on Github. The role involves mentoring new contributors, reviewing PRs, contributing to discussions on issues, and managing issue-based discussions forums. The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of experience as a software developer, 3+ years of experience with Javascript/Typescript, and experience with GitHub, managing issues, and reviewing PRs. They should also be community-focused, with a passion for helping people to succeed. Preferred qualifications include 3+ years of experience in an external-facing role or through community or open source contributions, experience with testing, designing, and influencing software development, and experience speaking at meetups & conferences. The role also involves representing Shardeum at webinars, conferences, and working with potential partners interested in contributing to open source projects and developers who want to innovate on the platform. Shardeum is a fully remote, globally distributed company, and the role promises to be a rollercoaster ride but fun!
