This position entails serving as the primary contact with the accountability for delivery, fostering client relationships, and supervising the team responsible for the tasks. The responsibilities also include technical leadership, getting your hands dirty with code, and effective stakeholder management through close collaboration with clients. Throughout the engagement, the role requires working closely with the client's internal staff and product teams, serving as their strategic delivery partner and trusted advisor.We believe small, multi-disciplinary teams are most effective in delivering complex change of this nature. As such, this is a crucial role and will require flexibility and the ability to take on different responsibilities over the lifetime of the engagement.Key responsibilities for the role include:Interaction with stakeholders, ensuring expectations are managed and business goals are understoodAccountable for the design of the solutionsOverseeing and managing development teamsAt least 50% hands-on coding in Java, Node.js, OR PythonOccasional business travel in North AmericaRole requirements - technical skills and experienceThis position is well-suited for a seasoned Technical Lead with a background in leading client-facing engagements.Must-have requirements:Experience in designing and building custom medium/large AND/OR enterprise applications for external clientsExpert in JavaExperience in AWSExperience in MongoDB OR another NoSQL databsesExperience in microservices architectureExperience in Python AND/OR Node.jsTeam leading and overseeing delivery of a few distributed teamsNice-to-have requirements:Experience in Data MigrationsExperience in Kafka (or similar technology)AWS Professional CertificationsRole requirements - soft skillsKey attributes and behaviours to succeed in this role will be:Delivery focus - strong analysis and problem-solving skills.
