Responsibilities

Deliverable Requirements: - For each assigned project package, the Contractor's completed deliverable consists of the following elements. - A deliverable is not considered complete or invoiceable until all elements are provided. Takeoff Specifications: - Complete quantified takeoff: all scope items for the assigned package measured digitally using Bluebeam and Company-provided coded tools. - Work codes applied: the correct work/cost code placed on every quantified item, including tentative codes where the final code is unclear, clearly marked as tentative. - Importable format: output structured so it exports/imports cleanly into the Company estimating spreadsheet without reformatting. - Flagged review items: all scope conflicts, plan/specification discrepancies, missing information, method notes, and substitutions clearly flagged for Estimator review. - Takeoff summary report: a concise written summary for the Estimator documenting conflicts, assumptions, and notes arising from the takeoff. - Q&A responsiveness: answering the Estimator's questions on the delivered takeoff during estimating huddles or reviews. Scope Discipline: - Takeoff is primarily electrical, with civil work as assigned. - The Contractor will study Company-provided contract and standard specifications and plans on their own initiative to understand US public-works methods and scope intent, which is treated as part of preparing an accurate deliverable.
