This team is like AI special ops — we work across every part of the business to help teams build automated solutions to real problems. We're looking for someone who's excited about finding gaps in the business, validating them with data, and prototyping solutions rapidly with AI.Key ResponsibilitiesBuild internal tools and customer-facing features on top of LLMs (OpenAI, Claude, open-source models)Design and maintain prompt chains, RAG pipelines, and agent workflowsPrototype rapidly — often going from idea to working demo in days, not sprintsEvaluate model outputs, set up evals, and iterate on qualityWire AI into existing systems (APIs, databases, CRMs, Slack, etc.)Own the full stack of a feature — frontend, backend, model integration, deploymentWhat You'll BringDemonstrable proof of using AI to create value-additive tools and productsHands-on experience with LLM APIs (function calling, streaming, embeddings, fine-tuning)Understanding of vector databases (Pinecone, Weaviate, pgvector), prompt engineering patterns, and basic ML conceptsStrong product instinct — able to talk to a non-technical stakeholder, understand the need, and build the right thing without a heavy specData-driven — willing to dig deep into the data, often creating new reporting, to find the root causes of problems that need solvingFluent English speakerNice to HaveExperience with agent frameworks (LangChain, CrewAI, Claude tool use) and eval toolingWillingness to relocate in the future to Birmingham, San Francisco, or Mexico CityWhat we offerHome office setupDynamic, fast-moving work environmentContinuous training and professional development opportunitiesStable employment with a U.S. companyGenerous PTO policyLanding is an equal opportunity employer.
