This is a hands-on, entrepreneurial opportunity for a finance leader who thrives in fast-paced environments and enjoys working across industries.Position OverviewAs an Interim CFO, you will step into organizations during critical transition periods—whether covering a leave of absence, filling a gap between permanent CFOs, supporting a restructuring, or stabilizing the finance function during rapid growth. You will provide immediate executive-level financial leadership, ensuring continuity, stability, and strategic direction while maintaining business momentum. You will be accountable for client satisfaction, deliverable accuracy, timeliness, and overall engagement success.Our clients include startups, scale-ups, privately held companies, and VC- and PE-backed organizations across a wide range of industries such as Technology, SaaS, Professional Services, Construction, Manufacturing, eCommerce, Healthcare, CPG, FinTech, Real Estate, and more.Key ResponsibilitiesServe as a strategic partner and “right hand” to CEOs and executive teamsDevelop and execute comprehensive financial strategies aligned with business goalsBuild and maintain financial models, rolling forecasts, and cash flow projectionsLead budgeting processes and analyze budget-to-actual performanceIdentify and monitor key financial trends, KPIs, and business metricsDevelop executive dashboards and board-ready reporting packagesSupport and lead fundraising efforts, including venture capital and private equity transactionsLead M&A initiatives, including due diligence, valuation support, and post-acquisition integrationOversee or directly manage month-end close processes and financial reportingAssess and improve accounting processes, systems, and internal controlsCoordinate annual audits and manage tax return processesPresent financial results and strategic insights to Boards of Directors and shareholdersLead client onboarding engagements, including financial assessments and transition planningIdeal Candidate Profile15+ years of progressive accounting and finance experienceSeveral years serving as a full-time CFOBachelor’s degree required; CPA license and/or MBA strongly preferredDemonstrated experience as a strategic financial leader and executive partnerProven success working with fast-growth companiesExtensive experience building financial forecasts and cash flow modelsStrong background in M&A, including due diligence and integrationExperience raising capital, particularly within the venture capital ecosystemComfortable operating in both strategic and hands-on capacitiesExperience working across multiple industriesStrong ERP and accounting systems experience (QuickBooks Online, NetSuite, Sage Intacct, and similar platforms)Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel; Google Sheets experience a plusEntrepreneurial mindset with exceptional communication and leadership skills
