TestPros is dedicated to making lives better, safer and more secure.We are seeking an experienced Document Remediation Specialist to support a digital accessibility project. The ideal candidate will have demonstrated expertise remediating complex documents to ensure compliance with accessibility standards such as WCAG, Section 508, and PDF/UA.Start: Future projects late 2026 or 2027 (not an immediate job opening)Type: Part-time consultingOverviewKey Responsibilities:Remediate digital documents of varying complexity.Ensure compliance with WCAG 2.1 AA, Section 508, and PDF/UA accessibility standardsRemediate multiple file types, including:Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPointGoogle Docs, Sheets, SlidesScanned and non-scanned PDFsConduct quality assurance reviews to validate accuracy and accessibilityCollaborate with team members to support efficient, user-friendly submission and workflow processesMeet turnaround timelines for both simple and complex file typesRequired Qualifications:2+ years of experience in document accessibility remediationStrong knowledge of WCAG 2.1, Section 508, and PDF/UA standardsProficiency with Adobe Acrobat Pro and accessibility tools such as CommonLook, Equidox, or similarAbility to manage deadlines and prioritize tasks effectivelyStrong communication and organizational skillsPreferred Qualifications:Certification such as CPACC or WASExperience working with Learning Management Systems (e.g., Canvas)Familiarity with educational institutions or large-scale remediation projectsRate: $40-65/hr (1099 or Corp. To Corp.).
