You thrive when exploring uncharted technical territory while maintaining the focus needed to convert theoretical advances into real-world security improvements.ResponsibilitiesDrive original cybersecurity research initiatives aligned with our strategic objectivesIdentify emerging security threats and develop innovative detection and prevention methodologiesPublish research findings through company blog posts, whitepapers, and other outletsPresent research at leading industry conferences and security eventsCollaborate with engineering teams to integrate research findings into our productMentor junior researchers and foster a culture of exploration and innovationEstablish and maintain relationships with academic and industry research communitiesParticipate in customer-facing activitiesTop candidates for this role will have:7+ years of experience in security research with demonstrable contributions to the fieldStrong publication record with conference presentations and/or journal publicationsDeep technical expertise in one or more specialized security domainsProven ability to communicate complex technical concepts to diverse audiencesExperience bridging research concepts into practical, deployable technologiesStrong programming skills and familiarity with common security toolsAdditional notesAs a remote first company, we are looking to hire anywhere in the United StatesWe hire people authorized to work in the United States.
