Position OverviewPinckney Hugo Group is seeking a Senior Retail Media Buyer to support national CPG clients across leading retailer media platforms. This is a hands-on keyboard role responsible for building, activating, optimizing, and reporting on campaigns across retail media ecosystems.This position works closely with our Shopper Marketing, Media Strategy, and Analytics teams to develop full-funnel retail media programs spanning onsite search, onsite display, and offsite media.Responsibilities:Execute retail media campaigns across platforms including Walmart Connect, Kroger Precision Marketing (KPM), Meijer, H-E-B, Albertsons, and PublixBuild and manage campaigns across:Retail Search (Sponsored Products / Keyword Bidding)Onsite Display (Banner, PDP, Category placements)Offsite Media (Programmatic, social extensions, audience targeting)Perform hands-on campaign setup, trafficking, bid management, and optimization within each platformMonitor pacing, budgets, and performance daily; proactively adjust to meet KPIsPartner with Shopper Marketing to align media strategies with in-store, ecommerce, and promotional initiativesAnalyze performance data to identify trends, insights, and optimization opportunitiesDevelop reporting and dashboards highlighting ROAS, ROI, new-to-brand shoppers, and incrementalityCommunicate performance, insights, and recommendations to internal teams and clientsStay current on retail media trends, beta opportunities, and platform changesRequirements:6+ years of experience in digital media buying with direct retail media platform experienceLeads campaign strategy and execution across platformsProvides recommendations, mentors junior team members, and interfaces more directly with clientsExecutes campaigns independently with guidanceContributes to optimization and reportingHands-on experience with one or more: Walmart Connect, Kroger, Meijer, H-E-B, Albertsons, PublixStrong understanding of:Retail search and keyword strategyOnsite display formats and audience targetingOffsite retail media extensionsExperience working with CPG brands strongly preferredProven ability to manage budgets and optimize toward performance KPIsStrong analytical skills with ability to translate data into actionable insightsExcellent communication, organization, and attention to detailAbility to manage multiple campaigns and priorities in a fast-paced environmentBenefitsHybrid work – split your week between working in our office or at homeGenerous PTO policy, including flex timePaid parental leaveMedical, vision, dental benefitsResources for savings and investments such as our 401(k) plan with company matchCompany-sponsored events and swagDog friendly work environmentOpportunities to learn, develop, network, and connectTotal compensation for this role is designed to be competitive with the market. The anticipated salary range for this Syracuse, NY-based position is $85,000 to $105,000 per year. The final offer will depend on the candidate's experience, skills, abilities, and geographic location, along with other business and organizational considerations.
