Responsibilities

What You'll Do:Lead legal support for data-related matters, including data licensing, sharing, governance, and acquisition.Draft and negotiate strategic partnership agreements, commercial contracts, and other business-critical arrangements.Support M&A transactions, from due diligence and deal structure through post-close integration.Provide day-to-day health care compliance and regulatory counseling to internal clients, as well as advise on the application of laws, regulations, and Company compliance policies to a broad range of health care business arrangements and transactions.Partner with internal teams to ensure that data, AI, and technology initiatives are compliant and enable business growth.Advise on U.S. and Canadian health data and privacy laws (such as HIPAA, CCPA/CPRA, PHIPA), and emerging AI regulations.Contribute to internal AI and data governance frameworks, risk assessments, and review processes.Monitor evolving laws and trends in AI, privacy, and digital health to guide strategy and mitigate risk.Serve as a trusted advisor to senior leadership on legal risk and opportunity across data, AI, and health innovation.Build and maintain strong relationships with business stakeholders, serving as a trusted advisor to support their objectives.Support other areas within Fullscript, learning the business from the inside-out alongside, and with the guidance, of your colleagues.
