Responsibilities
What you’ll do at MistplayManaging an ambitious, Agile, cross-functional, full-stack mobile app development teamLead the team in the design, development, and maintenance of the mobile application, ensuring that the team delivers high-quality software on time and within budget. You will be responsible for providing technical guidance to the team and resolving technical issues as they arisePartner closely with stakeholders (e.g Product, Data, Executive) to ensure the delivery of quality features to deliver a fantastic user experience, and guide stakeholders in understanding implementation effort and help guide prioritization effortsIdentify issues by analyzing data, processes, and code to remove blockers, improve delivery and recognize areas for refinementContinuously review and improve the team's development processes, tools, and practices to increase efficiency, productivity, and qualitySupport your team by securing resources, removing blockers, creating alignment and ensuring engagementDevelop and monitor engineering management KPIs to ensure that the team is meeting its goals and that the application is delivering value to users and the businessAct as hiring manager to continue to build out your team to meet changing business requirements, play a key role in recruiting and onboarding new team members, ensuring that new hires are integrated into the team effectively and that the team maintains a high level of diversity and inclusivity.Write code that is performant, scalable, maintainable and meets functional requirements. You'll have a significant role and voice in technical decisions in partnership with Tech LeadsStay up-to-date with the latest trends and technologies in mobile app & game development, including Kubernetes, AWS EC2, Beanstalk, DynamoDB, ElastiCache, TypeScript, and modern Android development stack.You will be responsible for keeping the team up-to-date on these technologies and ensuring that they are used effectively to build the best possible productWhat you’ll bring to MistplayBachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field is preferredAt least 7 years of experience in software development, with a focus on mobile app/game developmentStrong knowledge of engineering management KPIs and Agile software development processes and practicesProven experience in leading and managing high-performing engineering teams, preferably in an Agile environmentObsession with constant process design and iteration to improve engagement and team productivityKnowledge of/experience with Kubernetes, AWS EC2, Beanstalk, DynamoDB, ElastiCache, &/or TypeScriptExcellent understanding of software development processes and methodologiesStrong technical background in mobile app/game development, with a deep understanding of the mobile app platforms and its capabilitiesStrong experience with software development tools such as Git, JIRA, and ConfluenceAbility to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to identify business needs and translate them into technical requirementsExcellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skillsExperience with hiring and onboarding new team membersPassion for staying up-to-date with the latest trends and technologies in mobile app/game development, and a desire to continuously learn and improveNice to havesKnowledge of server-side technologies, such as Node.js, and experience integrating mobile apps with RESTful APIsExperience in consumer facing/B2C applications, preferably native mobile appsPourquoi choisir Mistplay ?Nous faisons tout pour rendre notre environnement de travail aussi accueillant et plaisant que possible !
