Responsibilities

Blink UX, an Mphasis company, is a design consulting firm creating products that people use, love, and remember. Blink has over two decades of experience in UX research, strategy, and design partnering with innovative industry leaders including Amazon, Chase, Gates Foundation, Google, Meta, and NASA. Blink is looking for a Visual Design Intern to join our design team this summer. During our paid summer internship program, you’ll collaborate with fellow team members to make work that matters. While you’ll be exposed to a variety of studio projects, the summer internship program focuses on pro-bono client projects. Projects from past years include work with Wellspring, Partner to Decide, Rescuing Leftover Cuisine, ImpactMapper, Sistah Biz, and Welfie. Our program provides interns with a fully immersive user-centered design project experience. Each intern has a Blink manager providing mentorship, direction, and support to ensure an experience of learning and growth. The internship runs 12 weeks from June 3rd to August 23rd. The hourly pay rate is $22/hr. The internship requires interns to reside in one of the following locations during the internship: Boston, San Diego, or Seattle. Interns are encouraged to utilize in-person work for collaboration, mentorship, and studio events. Responsibilities: - Collaborate and contribute across our user-centered design process. - Create visual design artifacts including moodboards, sketches, wireframes, and high-fidelity prototypes. - Bring a point-of-view into our practice, put forward brave ideas, and make something you love. - Sharpen storytelling and presentation skills through interactions with team members and clients. - Participate in Blink’s design practice including brainstorming sessions, cross-team critiques, and design team meetings.
