Requirements and responsibilities


Role OverviewThe CloudOps Engineer II will help with support, research, implementation, and maintenance of a multi-tiered fuel and retail cross-marketing system, payments, and data insights. The candidate will be responsible for supporting, deploying and troubleshooting of our distributed applications. The candidate will also help with development and adapting frameworks to fit industry best practices and coordinating these activities among the Development QA and Product teams. They will be responsible for coordinating with the appropriate departments on research of and remedies for software bugs and issues found during QA, beta, and production implementations.Key ResponsibilitiesCloud Service Delivery Management Complete operational tasks, incident logging, reporting, identity and access management, cloud components monitoring and testing (e.g., networks, servers, storage, and virtualization applications), and disaster recovery to support the day-to-day cloud service delivery infrastructure.Continuous Improvement Contribute to reviewing existing operations in own area of work, and assist in identifying improvements.QualificationsGood working knowledge on Windows and/or LinuxSome knowledge on Install and Configure Programs on Windows/or LinuxHave some knowledge on AWS is helpfulPreferred QualificationsExpertise in installing releases Proficiency with Terraform (or IaC-alike tools)Expertise in monitoring tools such as CloudWatch or Dynatrace Experience in certificate managementFamiliar with containerization (Docker) and cloud orchestration (AWS preferred)Behavioral CompetenciesEnsures AccountabilityManages ComplexityCommunicates EffectivelyBalances StakeholdersCollaborates EffectivelyClosing DescriptionPDI is committed to offering a well-rounded benefits program, designed to support and care for you, and your family throughout your life and career.
