🚀 Description The Account Director manages relationships with key accounts, understands their needs and goals, and ensures that the company exceeds customer expectations. This role involves building and maintaining strong client relationships, overseeing a team of marketing professionals, and executing effective marketing programs to amplify the impact of EdTech companies. The Account Director should possess excellent communication and organizational skills, strategic thinking, and problem-solving skills to deliver optimal client results. 🟨 Requirements: ◽️ Two years of account management or internal account management experience, preferably in a professional services or product organization, such as leading the marketing function in an EdTech or technology company. ◽️ Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university. ◽️ Ability to effectively communicate with key decision-makers and teams. ◽️ Strong problem-solving skills, using critical thinking to present concepts and solutions. ◽️ Excellent presentation, verbal, and written communication skills. ◽️ Fluency in spoken and written English and Spanish. ◽️ Strong organizational and time management skills. 🟨 Preferred Skills: ◽️ Experience using a CRM system, ideally HubSpot. ◽️ Comfortable with remote and hybrid work environments. ◽️ Location: Anywhere in the Americas. 🟨 Responsibilities: As an Account Director, your responsibilities include: ◽️ Gaining a thorough understanding of the client's product or service portfolio and business context to identify impactful opportunities. ◽️ Developing and maintaining excellent client relationships. ◽️ Reviewing and approving work before client presentation. ◽️ Staying updated on industry trends and best practices. ◽️ Coordinating with clients to manage project scope, budgets, and timelines. ◽️ Anticipating client needs and adapting to unforeseen circumstances. ◽️ Meeting with team leaders to discuss project goals, progress, and deliverables. ◽️ Coordinating teams to achieve project milestones. ◽️ Assembling new teams to meet client or company objectives. ◽️ Reporting and tracking all sales activities in a web-based CRM system. ◽️ Organizing regular and special customer meetings to ensure excellent customer service. ◽️ Preparing and presenting proposals and quotes for renewals, up-sells, and cross-sells. ◽️ Negotiating terms and conditions with customers.
