Position Overview: The Resident Services Coordinator plays a key role in driving resident satisfaction through seamless maintenance coordination and responsive support. This position requires someone with previous experience in maintenance coordination, strong phone communication skills, and a genuine desire to help people. You’ll be the first line of support for residents, ensuring their needs are met with speed, care, and professionalism. Key Responsibilities: Maintenance Coordination: * Serve as the primary point of contact for maintenance requests. * Coordinate with vendors to schedule repairs, inspections, and preventative maintenance. * Keep residents informed of repair timelines, updates, and resolutions. * Track and document maintenance tickets and performance metrics using internal tools. * Ensure timely invoice approvals and vendor communication. Move-Out Coordination: * Communicate move-out expectations and final procedures to departing residents. * Process early termination requests and track notices. * Ensure smooth handoffs to the Leasing and Project Coordination teams. Lease Violations Management: * Monitor for and track lease violations (e.g., unauthorized occupants, pets). * Issue communication and work with the team on appropriate actions or fines. * Maintain accurate documentation for legal and operational use. Resident Relations: * Act as the primary contact for resident concerns, requests, and onboarding. * Handle lease modification requests and general support inquiries. * Ensure a welcoming and helpful experience for all residents. Qualifications: * Prior experience in maintenance coordination or property management support is required. * Excellent verbal and written communication skills. * Comfortable with phone support and managing multiple resident touchpoints. * Strong organizational and multitasking abilities. * Reliable internet connection and dedicated home workspace. * Experience with property management software (e.g., Buildium, Property Meld) is a plus. * Proficiency with Google Workspace (Gmail, Docs, Sheets). Nice-to-Haves: * Bilingual in Spanish. * Familiarity with U.S. rental housing and lease processes.
