Now we are looking for the Operations Coordinator for one of our clients.Position Overview:The Operations Coordinator will manage a personal portfolio of 35–45 active shipments across Air Import, Ocean Import, and Domestic Trucking (approximately equal split across all three modes). This is a purely hands-on, execution-focused role requiring strong attention to detail, solid freight forwarding fundamentals, and daily proficiency in CargoWise. The ideal candidate understands the full lifecycle of a USA import shipment, including customs clearance processes, and can manage high file volumes with accuracy and professionalism.Manage 35–45 active shipment files simultaneously in CargoWise across all three modesCoordinate with carriers, agents, truckers, customs brokers, and clients to ensure on-time executionPrepare, review, and track shipment documentation — HBLs, MBLs, commercial invoices, packing lists, ISF, and moreMonitor customs clearance status and communicate proactively with brokers and clientsEnsure timely freight release, delivery scheduling, and final-mile coordinationMaintain accurate data entry and file management at all shipment lifecycle stagesHandle financial reconciliation, including cost accruals and invoicingManage high email volumes across shipment files professionally and efficientlyRequired qualifications3–5 years of experience in freight forwarding operations (imports focus strongly preferred)Solid working knowledge of USA import processes and customs clearance workflows (licensed broker not required)Proficiency in CargoWise (mandatory — hands-on daily use)Experience across at least two of the three modes: air import, ocean import, and domestic truckingStrong command of English (verbal and written)Spanish language skills are a strong plusHigh proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Teams, OneDrive, and SharePointExperience using FRONT as a mail client is a plusWorking conditionsWork schedule: Monday - Friday, 8 am - 5 pm ESTA supportive teamCompetitive Salary in USD Remote eligibility10+ business days of paid time offEquipment providedJoin our team and become an integral part of our mission to provide reliable and efficient freight transportation solutions to our customers.
