About the roleWe are currently seeking a full-time Field Supervisor to assist our Operations Manager with the day-to-day operations throughout the market and ensure our patients have the best experience possible. The Field Supervisor oversees the quality of a territory of patient operations, ensuring that every Getlabs experience meets and exceeds the patient's expectations. We are looking for a strategic planner and a disciplined worker who thrives in a team environment but can also work independently—especially in the absence of defined processes.At Getlabs, you will:Supervise, mentor, and inspire a team of mobile phlebotomists in one or more geographical markets (multi-state!).Manage complex logistics, including supply chain, distribution, appointment assignment, and routing to ensure maximum efficiency.Assess work performance and perform appointment reviews for compliance, quality, and safety on a regular basis; accurately report all findings.Use your attention to detail to ensure accurate recordkeeping and compliance with all medical protocols.Act as a subject matter expert in phlebotomy; provide hands-on guidance with phlebotomy techniques and technical equipment, including centrifuge troubleshooting.Handle employee grievances and customer service escalations with empathetic leadership, turning challenging interactions into positive outcomes.Administer disciplinary action as appropriate.Interview and hire new mobile phlebotomists.Effectively and efficiently onboard new hires.Complete new hire and annual competency assessments for team.Ensure accurate order and patient appointment recordkeeping.Lead the interview, hiring, and onboarding process; administer performance reviews and disciplinary actions with a focus on professional development/growth.Use critical thinking and a data-driven approach to review schedules, manage budgets, and approve expenses.Handle employee concerns and grievances.Review daily/weekly schedules for the team and make schedule adjustments as needed; organize, plan, and assign work.Plan and manage a budget.Assist with day-to-day customer service and manager-level escalations, including interactions with patients via inbound calls, outbound calls, emails, and other communication platforms.Review and approve team timecards and expenses.Provide coverage and travel to perform mobile phlebotomy job duties as needed.What we are looking for:At least 2 years of management experience in a leadership position.In-depth knowledge of phlebotomy duties, responsibilities, and techniques is a plus; experience with medical equipment (centrifuges) is a significant plus.Proven track record in providing exceptional customer service.Strong communication skills (written and verbal); Google Suite a plus.Strong public speaking abilities with the business acumen to represent Getlabs professionally.Disciplined worker who can work independently or in a team environment.Reliable transportation and clean driving record.Competency with Google applications and willingness to embrace new technology.Proven ability to handle ambiguity in the absence of defined systems and processes.Proactive mindset focused on finding solutions for logistics and patient care hurdles.What we offerCompetitive salary $66,000/yrValuable stock option planMedical, dental and vision insurance optionsFlexible and unlimited vacationA company with a huge vision, a dynamic work environment, and a team of talented, ambitious and fun to work-with colleaguesHealth & safetyDue to the ongoing nature of the COVID-19 pandemic, we require vaccination as a condition of employment for any employee who is in contact with patients.About GetlabsGetlabs is the leading platform for at-home diagnostics.
