Responsibilities

About Ten Past Tomorrow Ten Past Tomorrow is a New Zealand AI consultancy and education business. We work with senior leadership teams across the country on practical AI capability, and our AI Academy is our scalable engine for the operational skills training that follows. Founder Mark Laurence is the AI Executive in Residence at The Icehouse and Strategic AI Consultant to AUT and Waikato Management School. About the role You'll be the production powerhouse behind our AI Academy. Day to day, that means turning the fast-moving AI landscape into clear, usable teaching content that lands with non-technical knowledge workers. You'll build new modules, refresh existing ones as the tools and frontier models move, and work alongside Mark and the team on cadence, quality, and learner activation. Responsibilities - Produce new AI Academy modules: short videos, written lessons, exercises, and prompt libraries. - Refresh and update existing content as tools, models, and best practice evolve. - Translate technical AI developments into plain-language teaching for non-technical senior knowledge workers. - Operate to a structured brief, with real autonomy on how you land it. - Contribute to the cadence and quality of the Academy as a living platform. Who we're after (four non-negotiables) 1. An obsessive daily AI habit. You're in the tools every day and follow the field closely. You can't fake this one. 2. Hands-on with the agentic tools right now. You're working in Claude Code, Codex, or both, day to day. You're not picking it up from scratch. 3. Able to create clear AI teaching content for non-technical people. You can translate technical depth into plain-language teaching that actually lands. 4. Comfortable working to a brief. You take a structured prompt and turn it into a finished piece without twenty clarifying questions. That combination is the rare bit. Plenty have one or two. Not many have all four. What we offer - A role at the front of New Zealand's AI capability-building story. - A small, sharp team with serious momentum. - Real responsibility from day one. - Compensation matched to capability. - Remote-friendly with periodic in-person time with the team near Matakana, north of Auckland.
