Content Creator & Co-Host
Remote · Contract, full time · Base + performance bonus
3rd Brain puts AI operators and engineers inside growing companies. We're hiring a Content Creator & Co-Host to grow our video and newsletter audiences and attract new clients.
You'll work directly with our founder as a cohost, interviewer, and creative collaborator. You'll bring your own ideas, create content together and independently, and help shape how we teach business owners about AI and operations. You'll have our team's real client experience to draw from and staff editing support to help get the work published.
What you'll own
- Creative and editorial direction. Choose the topics, formats, and angles that matter to business owners and operators. Turn practical AI and business operations experience into useful tutorials, education, and demos.
- Video and live content. Work day to day with our founder, cohosting videos and live sessions and leading interviews. Create and host content independently, too.
- Production. Own preparation, recording, packaging, and publishing. You'll have staff editing support; you brief the editor, review the work, and keep production moving.
- YouTube growth. Build an audience of potential buyers. Improve topics, titles, thumbnails, and the content itself based on what attracts the right viewers and keeps them watching.
- The newsletter. Own editorial direction, publishing, reader engagement, and growth. Facebook ads promote our book and bring new readers into the newsletter. Your content gives those readers a reason to stay, respond, and explore working with us.
- Pipeline from content. Give interested viewers and readers a clear path to a conversation. Track qualified meetings booked each week and learn which content brings them in.
What success looks like
- A growing number of qualified meetings from viewers and readers, tracked weekly.
- A growing subscriber base that includes the business owners and operators we serve.
- Content that earns attention, repeat viewing, replies, and enquiries from potential buyers.
- A dependable publishing rhythm across YouTube and the newsletter.
You'll love this if
- You're comfortable on camera and know how to lead an interview or conversation.
- You've grown a YouTube channel, newsletter, or another audience and can show what your work produced.
- You have strong editorial judgment and bring ideas worth making.
- You understand practical AI well enough to explain its uses to business owners and operators.
- You take an idea through to publication and use AI to get more good work done.
- You want to help build a business through the audience you create.
This isn't for you if
- You want a role entirely behind the camera.
- You expect the founder to supply every idea, script, and recording.
- You measure success only in views and subscriber counts.
- You want to set the direction and hand all the execution to someone else.
How we work: our 12 Operating Excellence Principles
1. You Set The Rhythm. Projects move at the pace of their team syncs. Sync more, be hyper communicative, and move faster.
2. Do More To Do More. More actions = More Output. This is the secret that everyone knows and nobody does.
3. Be Hyper Communicative. Leadership, success, and great client service all start with hyper communication.
4. Clarity = Speed. Gain both by doing the One Thing that will give you success. Simplify to Accelerate.
5. If It Matters, It Must Be Measured. If you want something to change you've got to be tracking it.
6. Be Honest. In Thought, Opinion, and Word; Even If It Hurts.
7. Be Present. Respect The Time Others Give You. Time is the only nonrenewable resource you have.
8. You Get What You Give. Bring a 5 star attitude if you want a 5 star experience. Showing up with a good attitude is part of the job.
9. Better Every Day. Compound Your Improvements. Operational excellence starts with optimization.
10. By Endurance We Conquer. We continue until the task is done, lest it need never be done.
11. Seek Leverage. If you do it twice, automate it. Leverage AI & Automation to do more before you do more to do more. This is strategic laziness.
12. You Are In Charge. Remember: you are the only one who can hold yourself accountable. Extreme ownership and radical autonomy start with you.
