OCMBC, Inc is looking for a highly organized and motivated individual to fill the position of Product Analyst! The Product Analyst (PA) plays a vital role in supporting product development initiatives for the parent company OCMBC, Inc and its DBA’s. This position reports to the Vice President of Product Development.Position SummaryPA is responsible for researching, analyzing, and supporting the development, implementation, and ongoing management of residential and/or business purpose mortgage products. The ideal candidate possesses strong mortgage industry knowledge, with a solid understanding of processing, underwriting, investor guidelines, loan eligibility, mortgage product structure, and mortgage loan lifecycle. The PA will play a role in product enhancements and new product launches while helping ensure products are operationally sound, compliant, competitive, and accurately configured within Encompass.Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop and maintain product matrices, guidelines, procedures, job aids, and other product documentation as needed.Analyze eligibility requirements such as LTV/CLTV, DTI, credit, income, assets, property type, occupancy, and documentation requirements.Support product launches, enhancements, and guideline changes.Review and interpret FNMA, FHLMC, FHA, VA, USDA, Non-QM, DPA, and other Investor/program guidelines as applicable.Collaborates with Encompass Business System Analyst (BSA) and Technology teams to communicate business needs.Develop test scenarios to validate product eligibility, workflow, and disclosures are working properly.Test fields, business rules, calculations, conditions, and product specific requirements.Document defects and work with Encompass BSA/Technology team to resolve them.Perform regression testing when product changes or system enhancements may impact existing products, workflows, business rules, or functionality.Maintain testing documentation and audit trails.QualificationsMinimum of five (5) years of experience in mortgage with a strong knowledge of mortgage products and underwriting practicesEncompass Administrator background preferred.Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.Ability to interpret complex guidelines and translate them into practical business requirements.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Ability to manage multiple projects with competing priorities in a deadline-driven environment.Professional and leadership qualitiesAbility to maintain confidentialityCustomer experience championProficient in Microsoft Office and ExcelServe as a subject matter expert for product related questions.
