Responsibilities
Job PurposeTo lead and manage end-to-end warehouse and logistics operations, ensuring efficient material flow, inventory accuracy, regulatory compliance, and high service performance.The role is responsible for driving operational efficiency, cost control, safety, and continuous improvement while ensuring seamless coordination between production, suppliers, and customers.Key ResponsibilitiesWarehouse Operations ManagementManage end-to-end warehouse operations including receiving, put-away, storage, picking, packing, and dispatchEnsure inventory accuracy through cycle counts, reconciliation, and stock control practices (FIFO/FEFO where applicable)Control warehouse space utilization, layout, and material handling systemsEnsure compliance with SOPs, quality standards, and audit requirementsLogistics & Transportation ManagementPlan and control inbound and outbound logistics activities (domestic and international)Coordinate with freight forwarders, transporters, and customs brokersEnsure timely delivery of materials/products to meet operational and customer requirementsMonitor transportation performance, route optimization, and cost efficiencyProduction & Material Flow Support (Shopfloor Integration)Ensure timely and accurate material supply to production lines (line feeding, replenishment, staging)Monitor and optimize material flow, layout, and line-feeding conceptsResolve operational issues such as shortages, incorrect supply, and bottlenecks in real timeCoordinate closely with production, engineering, and quality teamsCost Control & Performance ManagementManage logistics and warehouse costs (transport, storage, labor, utilities)Monitor KPIs such as delivery performance, inventory accuracy, and operational efficiencyAnalyze data and implement cost-saving and efficiency improvement initiativesPrepare operational reports and present insights to managementThird-Party & Supplier ManagementManage and evaluate performance of 3PL providers, freight forwarders, and logistics partnersEnsure compliance with contract terms, KPIs, and service level agreements (SLAs)Identify opportunities for supplier performance improvement and cost reductionProcess Improvement & Operational ExcellenceDrive continuous improvement initiatives (Lean, Kaizen, 5S, waste reduction)Identify process gaps and implement standardized workflowsLead warehouse and logistics optimization projects (capacity, flow, automation, system improvements)Apply root cause analysis and problem-solving techniquesCompliance, Safety & QualityEnsure compliance with local regulations (e.g., customs, labor, IEAT if applicable)MaintaE, and operational risk controlSupport internal, customer, and regulatory auditsEnsure proper use and maintenance of logistics equipmentSystems & Data ManagementUtilize ERP/WMS systems (e.g., SAP) for inventory, transactions, and reportingEnsure data accuracy for inventory, shipments, and documentationManage logistics documentation (shipping docs, invoices, packing lists, etc.)Stakeholder ManagementCollaborate with internal teams (Production, Procurement, Sales, Planning, Quality)Coordinate with external stakeholders (logistics providers, customers, authorities)Ensure smooth day-to-day operation and strong communication across functionsLeadership & Team ManagementLead, coach, and develop warehouse and logistics teamsPlan manpower and allocate resources effectivelyDrive performance, discipline, and engagement within the teamBuild a continuous improvement cultureKey Performance Indicators (KPIs)On-time delivery / IFOT (In-Full-On-Time)Inventory accuracyLogistics and warehouse cost efficiencySafety performance (zero incident target)Productivity improvement / process efficiencySupplier / 3PL performanceQualifications & ExperienceBachelor’s degree ply Chain, Engineering, or related fieldsMinimum 8–10 years of experience in warehouse/logistics operations (manufacturing preferred)Experience nsportation, and 3PL providersStrong knowledge of import/export, customs, and logistics processesExperience with ERP/WMS systemsSkills & CompetenciesStrong leadership and team managementAnalytical thinking and problem-solving skillsProcess improvement mindset (Lean / Kaizen)Excellent communication and stakeholder managementOrganizational and planning capabilityAbility to work under pressure and manage multiple prioritiesTravel Requirement:No travel is expected with this roleRelocation Assistance:This role is not eligible for relocationThis position is not available for remote working
