We are seeking a Category Management Coordinator to provide operational and administrative support to the Category Management team throughout the sourcing, contracting, and supplier lifecycle.The entry-level position is designed to develop foundational knowledge of procurement, strategic sourcing, supplier management, and contract administration through hands-on experience and collaboration with the Category Management team. The coordinator partners closely with Procurement Operations, Accounts Payable, Legal, Finance, IT, and business stakeholders to support efficient procurement processes, maintain data integrity, and deliver a positive supplier and stakeholder experience while preparing for future growth into an Associate Category Manager role.Responsibilities:Provide administrative and operational support to the Category Management team throughout the sourcing, contracting, and supplier lifecycle.Prepare procurement documentation, reports, presentations, and sourcing materials to support category initiatives.Assist with spend analysis, market research, supplier research, and category data collection to support strategic sourcing activities.Coordinate supplier onboarding and offboarding activities by collecting required documentation, tracking progress, maintaining accurate supplier master data, and serving as a liaison between suppliers and internal stakeholders to ensure vendor records remain current and compliant.Maintain accurate supplier, contract, and category information across procurement systems and repositories.Administer the corporate credit card program by coordinating new card requests, account maintenance, cardholder changes, limit updates, cancellations, and policy compliance.Review routine, low-risk supplier agreements using approved templates and playbooks, escalating non-standard terms to Category Managers or Legal.Coordinate contract review, approval, execution, and document retention in accordance with company policies.Monitor contract milestones, renewal dates, and administrative activities to support effective contract lifecycle management.Coordinate procurement activities and communications among Category Management, Procurement Operations, Legal, Finance, suppliers, and business stakeholders.Respond to routine category management/sourcing inquiries and route complex requests to the appropriate team members.Compile procurement metrics, contract status, supplier onboarding data, and other reports to support business decision-making.Contribute to continuous improvement by maintaining procurement templates, documentation, and standardized processes while identifying opportunities to enhance efficiencySkills and Experience needed for success in this role:Bachelor’s degree in supply management, Business, Finance, or related field. 0–2 years of experience in procurement, sourcing, purchasing contract administration, vendor management or administrative support role. Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.Ability to learn new systems, processes, and technologies quickly.Strong customer service orientation and ability to work collaboratively across departments.Exposure to Coupa procurement systems preferred. Final offer amounts are determined by multiple factors including location, local market variances, and candidate experience and expertise, and may vary from the amounts listed above.
