For more information, please visit www.accelerant.ai.OverviewAccelerant is looking for an Operations Specialist to join our Risk Exchange Operations Team, this role will report into the Operations Lead. You will work alongside the Technology, Finance and Outsource teams to manage operational procedures and management of speciality underwriters Globally, at Accelerant we call them members.Key ResponsibilitiesManage operational procedures and adherence to controlsManage the bordereaux and query resolution KPIs and create an environment of continuous improvementProvide Management and oversight of the monthly member meetings.Review and approve the member handover process from the Operations Team to Outsourced Operations & Credit ControlEnsure the Crib sheet has extensive notes for both Delegated Underwriting Authority and Credit Control TeamsManage the financial close procedures and provision of reports to the Finance teamsManage the Quality assurance programme, manage the premium audit process including member and auditor communications.Work closely with senior management to develop the operational reporting processes, controls, and systemsAssist in maintaining and improving internal and SOX controls to ensure complianceMonitor and control premium and cash metrics while adhering to regional metrics aligned to the organisational objectives and key results.Skills and qualifications Required:Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) required.Able to thrive in a fast-paced environment and flexibility dealing with significant operational change.Able to accomplish tasks with minimal supervision, maintain accuracy, and meet deadlines.Excellent written and oral communication skills around highly technical itemsThe technical skills and experience you'll need to be proficient are:5+ years of experience in the Delegated businessExperience of managing outsourced teamsExcellent communication skillsArticulate and confident in person, able to fit into a fast paced, dynamic environment with a 'can do attitude' and ability to build relationships across different levels of the business.Excellent time management, attention to detail and follow-up skills.Ability to work autonomously and contribute to team objectives.Proficiency in Microsoft Office and data management tools
