As we move on to new projects, the studio that brought you Baldur’s Gate 3 & Divinity: Original Sin 2 is looking for a Sound Designer to join the team on a 12 month fixed-term contract and help us in crafting the high calibre games our fans have come to expect.ResponsibilitiesExecute and bring to life the Creative Sound Design Vision of the Audio DirectorSupport and train of our more junior Sound DesignersReport and support the Audio Producer by estimating tasks and working and communicating properly in JiraCommunicate with Stakeholders, Feature Teams and the rest of the Audio DepartmentReport issues and needs to the Technical Audio teamRequirementsFull project lifecycle experience as a Sound Designer on a AAA titleStrong ability to deliver a cohesive Sound Design visionDeep understanding of the game audio pipeline—from asset creation to full in-game soundscapesExtensive knowledge of audio production, including asset creation, mixing, and masteringStrong proficiency in the craft of creative sound design and techniques such as synthesis, field recording and foley.Experienced in library asset curation and managementStrong proficiency with Wwise and its integration into game enginesNice to havesWorked on an RPGBasic scripting skillsWhat we offerAn international team of over 450 employees spread across 7 studios around the world, each of which have their own unique qualities, and maintain a small-studio feelAn open, collaborative environment where ideas are welcome and encouragedA managerial team consisting of highly experienced game developers at the top of their fieldsSharing hobbies and passions with likeminded colleaguesInclusive environment with many activities organized by the studios or the employeesCommitment to making the best game possible for the fans, including listening to community feedback
