Role: Technical Project Manager based in Sunnyvale, CA (Day 1 Onsite) for a 12+ month assignment. The Technical Project Manager will lead end-to-end delivery of technology-focused programs in retail, eCommerce, or supply chain. The role requires managing program scope, objectives, roadmaps, and success criteria with business and technical stakeholders. The manager will conduct Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, backlog prioritization, and release management. They will partner with engineering, architecture, and operations teams to deliver scalable, secure, and high-performing solutions. Responsibilities include acting as the single point of contact for stakeholders, providing status updates, managing issues, risks, and dependencies, and ensuring compliance with IT standards, security, and governance. The role also involves tracking and reporting key delivery metrics, driving continuous improvement, and promoting operational excellence, including adoption of automation and AI-based productivity tools. Strong leadership, proactive communication, and the ability to manage cross-functional global teams are essential.
Mandatory Technical Background:
* JIRA, Confluence, ServiceNow, MS Project.
* Modern technology stacks: Java, Cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP), APIs, Kafka, Cassandra or any NoSQL DB, DevOps practices.
Experience:
* 8+ years in program/project management.
* 6+ years managing technology-focused initiatives.
* Proven experience in retail, eCommerce, or supply chain technology programs.
