Job Summary: - Our client, one of the best microfinance banks in Abuja, is seeking an experienced and dynamic Managing Director to lead our Microfinance Bank. The successful candidate must have a minimum of 5 years of experience in a microfinance bank or financial institution, with a proven track record of leadership and strategic growth. The Managing - Director will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the bank's operations, driving business growth, and ensuring regulatory compliance. Key Responsibilities: - Develop and implement strategic plans to drive business growth and profitability. - Lead and manage the senior management team to achieve organizational goals. - Identify and pursue new business opportunities to expand the bank's mortgage portfolio. - Foster relationships with key stakeholders, including customers, partners, and regulators. - Ensure effective risk management practices are in place to mitigate potential risks. - Oversee credit risk, operational risk, and regulatory compliance. - Oversee daily operations, including lending, servicing, and collections. - Ensure efficient and effective use of resources. - Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards. - Maintain strong relationships with regulators and industry associations.
