🎯 Important information: * This is a 12-month project with 40 hours per week. 🎯 About your role/responsibilities: * Identify opportunities for automation, quality improvement, and consistency in the current ecosystem. * Work closely with Software Engineering, QA, and System Administration teams to provide a stable, consistent, efficient development and production environment. * Creating best practices to solve real-world software engineering problems. * Own and drive solutions from problem statement to implementation * concept to completion. 🎯 Requirements: * 3+ years of DevOps experience in a compliant-focused environment/industry (ie, healthcare/HIPAA, finance/ PCI-DSS, insurance, energy, FedRAMP, etc.) Strong cloud computing experience, AWS (preferred), GCP, Azure. * Strong systems administration and scripting experience (bash, python, PowerShell, PowerCLI). * Experience with Containerization (Docker) and container orchestration (Kubernetes is a must). * Experience with Kubernetes-associated technologies (ie Helm charts, Ambassador, Istio, etc.) * Experience in Automation/configuration management (Ansible, Puppet, chef). * Experience in infrastructure automation (ie Terraform, CloudFormation. * Experience with CI/CD (ie Jenkins, Gitlab, Maven). * Experience with virtualization (VMWare, Hyper-v). 🎯 Soft skills: * Builds positive working relationships across team boundaries. * Demonstrated ability to take initiative, develop relationships, and interact with all levels of management. * Resourcefulness, efficiency, problem-solver, and a strong sense of ownership. * Strong Team Player, with good communication skills. 🎯 This is a job opening from Forte Group.
